A lot of my friends were people that were considered "assholes" by virtually everyone else - a hazard of living through the suffering that we all experienced.
I remember thinking "if I could just give this kid a microphone, everything that everyone hates about him would be transformed into the things they love about him."
So, Pink Reason has become a vehicle for transfiguration. It's a way for me to turn our shit into gold and use the gold to buy my friends and I a better life, because we've deserved it.
I think a lot of people deserve better, and I want to encourage those people to do something about it. The only way to change your life is to take charge of it.
It's not an easy path, and I nearly died several times getting myself to the place I am today, but despite the dangers, it's been worth it, and even if I never made it as far as I have, at least my path would have been more interesting than the alternatives.

its an excerpt from an interview with Kevin Failure of Pink Reason - probably the best live music I have experienced this year. People that want to read it can click the link, people like you that get frustrated only make me laugh.
